You can purchase a yiynova tablet through the UK distributor -
www.yiynova.eu/shop/index.php?…

The distributor for US buyers are different then the UK one, so just be sure to check reviews on the particular merchant, just to be sure they have good customer service and what not.

Been in love with all the recent art; I freaking love the characters designs. I'm also curious about a few things like: Who's J? What program do you use to paint/draw on (I never get to catch your livestreams so I don't know, otherwise I wouldn't ask)? And if one were to want to look into the back story of your characters and your world, where would I look?

Sorry for all the questions...I never really used digital painters so I'm wondering what would be a good starting program.

Thank ya, been really into the art latley-

Hello and thank you for your questions! i don't mind them at all-

I use Painttoolsai for the most part then CS5 for some color tweaks and such- But Sai is my main tool and i love it. In addition my tablet is a Yiynova MSP19U+  (as seen here in a review i did of it www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZPHKnY… I would recommend it to anyone as a cheap alternative to a cintiq as I'd say it works just as well for a fraction of the price. Of course i got this tablet only to speed up my work, for many many years i used an on desk tablet (wacom intuos) and I can say they are both just as good for digital art (though i love the pieces out of my Yiynova because it sure does make it easier)

As for back story it's easier to just ask me in person or by note if your interested in any particular character- but i do have some of it in the descriptions here and there on here. Also i Do have a wiki but i won't pretend it's complete at all, some of it might even be inaccurate but, there is some info here. The articles listed on the front page are at least pretty accurate and important as it explains some of the "history" that eventually ties in with the main plotline- rum.wikispaces.com

And as for who J is she used to go by Jenndelle here on Da (and still does here and there) She doesn't actively post art online anymore but, she does have a gallery over on Fa if you want to check that out. She's going to be cleaning it out very soon though so if you want to archive anything it's best to do it quickly haha. But yes she's a friend of mine and my partner Lundi- here's her fa- www.furaffinity.net/user/commi…

She also goes by "Ben Jeremy" for her personal stuff and she currently has a book of her work available if your interested in that sort of thing - www.benjeremy.org/

Of course feel free to ask my questions anytime i'm always willing to answer! Sorry for so many links

Where exactly do you buy Painttoolsai? I went to the website (or what appeared to be the website) and honestly it was a little sketchy; Is it the Systemax or Softonic website? By the looks of it the program seems simple to use, but is there any way to put more brushes on it (I'm not very tech-savy).

Oh and by the way, J's page blew my mind away...no words to describe it, it was also a HUGE inspiration booster. It offered a whole new array of angles and perspectives to think about when creating a scene....FLIPPING AWESOME to say the least...about died from an over-dose of awesomeness. (and her website was a WHOLE new arena, I had no idea you could do that to a webpage before....my mind was blown :) )
I also began to read the history of your world, I do believe I will be reading it and the characters stories for the next few weeks. Let the reading begin lol

Oh and thank you for the comment on my page, you have no idea how much that meant to me.

Oh also  if you do buy sai here is a great set of brushes to get you started - bird--king.tumblr.com/post/859… All you need to do is just adjust the settings exactly to these- I can also screen cap a few of mine if you ever want to try those (though honestly...i really only use two brushes for everything I do)

Haha yes it looks sketchy and it's defiantly the Systemax website. It's totally legit~ You can try out their free trail first to see if you like the program then decide if you want to buy it after a month. And yes actually, you can even make brushes from scratch (its probably the most customizable as far as brushes go) If you want to get some other brushes without the hassle of making them yourself just search on Da or Tumblr for sai brush backs, many users post them and give instructions on how to put them in the folders so they will work.

J is a very huge inspiration to me and Lundi and we love her work. She's one of my favorite artists -
and ah goodness, thankyou! I'm glad your interested in my story and if you ever have questions feel free to shoot me a note about it, i never mind answering.

and of course! i look forward to see what you do digitally :) Also do you have a drawing tablet yet? I could link you to some cheap alternatives to wacom as i know they are a bit overpriced

Going through your gallery really made me wonder what would your work look like in really bright saturated colours. I realise that this is probably not what you want and I'm not saying that you should but you know, I was curious. Anyway, keep up the good work! :)

I usually consciously stay away from bright saturated stuff but I do have some old work where I have used over saturated stuff- I do want to try it out again sometime

Do it, I'd love to see it! For the record, if you did a lot of bright stuff I'd probably wonder about how your work would look desaturated - my head just works like that. :P
