MY character Liin Yunn, that i am currently group writing with ~redecembered's thrish Ajj cc:

He's a newer kind of rex im adapting called pheasants, a name i might tweak in the future haha.

As for his history welllll me and Xan are still in the process of playing it out ;D For now ill tell you that he is a Heathrows male, explaining why hes GIRLYYYY like most of my fuckrs.

anway this was just something quick c: his wings are black, inside and out.

(and LOL THAT CENSOR BOX, is really, a lazy censor box)

On this one i actually painting the gradients in but i use the gradient overlays alot in ps after im finished painting in Sai to mess around with the colors c:

oh man love these pheasants, they look pretty nice and oh so drawable <3
he has a subtle (general) oriental-feel to him, it must be his name.

btw i love how you can make an entire race seem cohesive but you can play around with quirks to each face/tweak individual markings to make each character distinct. (my pet peeve is people that switch hairstyles and things every which way but clone everyone's facial features. just ugh. i'm probably guilty of it with my ground owls though lol).
